How Much Does An Escort Cost?
The basic cost of an escort is $225 per escort officer (minimum of 3 or $675). The basic escort is for up to 21 vehicles (including the hearse). Additional escort officers can escort up to 7 vehicles each.
For any escort that includes a horse drawn funeral coach as part of the escorted procession there will be a premium of $50 per escort officer. This is due to the additional time and hazards of dealing with a very slow procession.
When scheduled by a private party (someone other than a licensed funeral home) there is a premium charge of $50 per escort officer.
We charge a premium of $50 per escort officer for Sundays and Holidays. The company observes all federal holidays. Click HERE to see a list.
Escorts requested within 48 hours of the requested arrival time also incur a premium charge of $50.00 per escort officer.
Escorts cancelled within 24 hours of the requested arrival time will be still be charged $50 per requested escort officer. We often have to turn down work due to resource constraints during the time you had scheduled. Cancelling on short notice prevents us from resurecting those declined escorts.
The basic cost includes a 30-minute wait time from the requested arrival time for the procession to start rolling. After that first 30 minutes; there is an overtime charge of $100 per escort officer per hour billable in 15-minute increments.
The basic cost also includes the first 20 escort miles as measured by the route driven. Every additional 5 miles or fraction thereof will incur a $25 per escort officer charge.

Note that our safety and yours depends on the cooperation of the people in the motorcade. If participants in the motorcade disregard our instructions or are disrespectful to our staff, the escort can be ended completely or shortened to just the coach and a few family or clergy vehicles and you will still be charged the full amount.
Security is billed hourly per guard. Armed guards cost $65/hour and unarmed guards $55/hour. We generally do not allow unarmed assignments unless its part of a larger security job that also includes armed guards.
All shifts on Sunday or federal holidays will be at time and a half.
If there is a known or specific threat then all guards are required to be armed and will only be assigned in pairs.
The minimum hours for a guard assignment is 4 unless it is in conjunction with an escort to which they are assigned, then it is 2.
